WDRB News in Louisville, Kentucky is looking for a passionate Photojournalist to join our award-winning news team. What You’ll Do

 

  • Use creative video and technical skills to deliver compelling visual stories that engage viewers.
  • Shoot, edit, and operate live ENG/SNG/Bonded Cellular equipment—independently or in collaboration with a reporter.
  • Partner with producers and editors to develop ideas for daily newscasts, features, and in-depth special projects.
  • Execute daily assignments both in the field and inside the station.
  • Maintain care and accountability for cameras, vehicles, and all assigned gear.

What You Bring

 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a TV newsroom with strong ENG field skills preferred.
  • Proven ability to shoot, edit, and feed video under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with non-linear editing systems and field production techniques.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • College degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent hands-on experience or formal training (internships, coursework, etc.) will also be considered.
