Commitment & Compensation:
- 6–10 hours per week (Summer 2025: June through August)
- Hybrid (remote and in-person)
About ARCK:
ARCK (Art Resource Collaborative for Kids) is a Boston-based nonprofit transforming education through creativity and well-being. Since 2012, we've empowered more than 8,300 students in under-resourced Boston Public Schools. Our Creativity Catalyst model integrates arts, academics, and social-emotional learning to elevate student voice and innovation. We envision a world where all learners flourish and realize their full creative potential through meaningful, student-centered education.
Internship Overview
Are you passionate about arts education, youth empowerment, and reimagining learning? Join ARCK as a summer intern and gain hands-on experience in curriculum and instructional design. You’ll support our education team in packaging our project library in accordance with our Integrated Creative Mindset curriculum framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the core elements of ARCK’s Integrated Creative Mindset curriculum framework
- Deliver Creative Pathways Program lessons
- Assist with curriculum design and packaging
- Collaborate with the Education Team to review and iterate on work
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in education and business development
- Experience in project/curriculum design & development
- Teaching experience or degree
- Strong communication and design skills
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Canva
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both remotely and in person
- Passionate about arts, education, and supporting diverse learners
