Position Overview

MaxFi is seeking a Business Development Associate who operates at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, and sales execution. This role supports lead generation, customer engagement, and commercial growth initiatives.

The position is ideal for someone who can move between strategic outreach, content coordination, and direct customer communication.

This is not a purely marketing role, nor is it purely sales. It requires someone comfortable building relationships, explaining complex offerings, and helping convert interest into booked labs and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Outreach

Identify and research prospective medical device companies, research groups, and training organizations

Initiate contact with potential partners through email, LinkedIn, conferences, and referrals

Maintain and grow a qualified pipeline of opportunities

Sales Support

Assist with proposals, quotes, and follow-up communication

Coordinate introductory calls and product demonstrations

Track opportunities and client interactions

Support conversion of pilot labs into long-term relationships

Marketing Collaboration

Help execute targeted outreach campaigns

Coordinate LinkedIn posts, announcements, and case highlights

Gather feedback from customers to refine messaging

Assist in developing materials for conferences and client presentations

Customer Engagement

Serve as an early point of contact for prospective customers

Help communicate MaxFi’s capabilities clearly and professionally

Coordinate internally with technical and operations teams to support customer needs

Qualifications

Preferred background includes:

Experience in business development, engineering sales, or marketing

Strong written and verbal communication

Comfort interacting with physicians, researchers, and corporate teams

Ability to organize opportunities and manage follow-ups

Self-starter mentality

Helpful but not required:

Medical device, healthcare, or life sciences exposure

Conference / industry networking experience

CRM familiarity
