Multi-facility and multi-doctor eye care practice in Manhattan and Queens area seeking a position as a Patient Care Coordinator/Administrator. We are looking for someone to bring high-energy and a positive attitude to join our dynamic office culture. Our mission is to provide a high-level concierge experience for all our patient's eye care needs.
Front Desk - Medical Administrator:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Knowledge of insurance verification, prior-authorization, and office coordination
- Book Appointments
- Verify Insurances – copays and deductibles
- Obtain Prior-Authorizations/referrals for office procedures
- Collect co-pays and deductibles
Attributes Valued:
- Communication is key, cheerful personality, and accommodating nature
- Applicant must be computer savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office
- Taking Initiative
- Bilingual is a plus +
