College Admissions Counselor - Remote
Job Summary
iLearning Education is seeking an experienced College Admissions Application Counselor to guide middle school and high school students through the U.S. college admissions process.
The ideal candidate is a graduate of a top U.S. university with strong expertise in competitive college admissions strategy, student profile development, and application review. This role involves mentoring students, leading workshops, and providing hands-on support with application platforms such as the Common App.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students and families through the entire U.S. college admissions process

Provide personalized admissions strategy and long-term planning -
Advise students on extracurricular activities, competitions, research opportunities, leadership, and awards -
Support and review applications using Common App, Coalition App, and university portals -
Help students develop college lists and admissions positioning strategies -
Review and guide personal statements, supplemental essays, and activity descriptions -
Conduct student workshops (application strategy, essay development, profile building, etc.) -
Provide coaching on resumes, portfolios, and academic presentation -
Stay updated on enrollment trends and admissions priorities at top U.S. colleges -
Communicate progress and strategy clearly with students and parents
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top U.S. university (Ivy League or similarly selective institutions strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of U.S. college admissions processes and evaluation criteria -
Familiarity with top U.S. college enrollment trends and institutional priorities -
Demonstrated experience guiding students through successful college applications -
Hands-on experience with Common App and other application systems -
Ability to lead workshops and mentor students effectively -
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills -
Organized, detail-oriented, and student-focused
Compensation
- Starting at $40/hour
