We are seeking a Legal Studies Intern who is ready to work at the high-stakes intersection of AI innovation and Intellectual Property law. As we scale our AI Stylist platform globally, we are looking for a proactive legal thinker to help us secure the proprietary computer vision and AI technologies that power our global platform. You will working alongside our engineers to translate complex digital technologies into robust, defensible patent filings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching and drafting patent applications in AI, computer vision, and related IT/tech fields.
  • Support prior art searches, patentability assessments, and freedom-to-operate analysis.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to understand inventions and translate them into strong IP filings.
  • Review existing patent portfolios and recommend strategies for strengthening our IP landscape.
  • Assist in communications with external patent attorneys, firms, and patent offices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Legal Studies or Pre-Law.
  • Previous internship experience in patent law OR direct involvement in successful patent filings in IT/technology.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, or computer vision technologies (technical background or coursework is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in working across technical and legal domains.
