Social Media Manager Intern

We are seeking a motivated Marketing or Communications student with a passion for social media, content creation, and digital storytelling to join our team as a Social Media & Marketing Intern.

This is a part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week) with primarily evening operations. Most work can be completed remotely, with at least one in-person visit per week for content capture, meetings, and check-ins.

Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality photos and videos at our facility and during events

Create and post engaging content across multiple social media platforms

Edit photos and short-form video for social media

Post-event content creation and recap posts

Develop creative ideas and strategies to improve marketing efforts and increase engagement

Assist with content planning and social media scheduling

Qualifications:

Strong interest in social media marketing and digital content creation

Experience with photography and videography (preferred)

Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and/or YouTube

Basic editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools preferred)

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Creative, proactive, and reliable

Schedule & Work Environment:

~10 hours per week

Primarily remote work

One on-site visit per week required for content capture and meetings

Evening availability preferred
