UI/UX Designer Intern

We are developing an innovative mobile application designed to deliver a seamless, user-friendly experience to our target audience. The app focuses on intuitive navigation, engaging design, and performance optimization. We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer Intern to help bring our mobile experience to life.

Position Overview

As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will work closely with the product and development teams to design and enhance the user experience of our mobile app (iOS and/or Android). You will assist in research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing while gaining hands-on experience in real-world mobile product development.

This role is ideal for someone eager to build their portfolio and gain experience designing mobile-first digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing mobile app interfaces

Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD

Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve app usability

Design user flows and optimize navigation within the app

Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs

Maintain consistency with branding and design systems

Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance app features and user engagement

Support usability testing and iterate designs based on findings

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

UI/UX Design

Graphic Design

Human-Computer Interaction

Computer Science

Or related field

Basic understanding of mobile-first design principles

Familiarity with design tools such as:

Figma

Adobe XD

Sketch

Understanding of user-centered design and usability principles

Strong attention to detail and creativity

Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Portfolio showcasing mobile app designs (academic or personal projects)

Understanding of:

iOS and Android design guidelines

Responsive and adaptive layouts

Basic prototyping and animation tools

Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a plus

Interest in accessibility and inclusive design
