Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Finance team in a hybrid role that combines Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities. This position offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, providing exposure to general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly analytical, and comfortable working with large data sets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Accounting (50%)
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support general accounting processes, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and perform variance analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
FP&A (50%)
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
- Perform variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
- Prepare management reports and dashboards highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to analyze production efficiency and cost drivers.

WORKING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- May be exposed to moderate heat, light dust, fumes, cold temperatures, and noise. Position will need to walk frequently through shift on concrete production floor. Adequate hearing protection is required for 85 decibels and above.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

This internship is intended to run through Summer 2026, at a minimum of 32 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic modeling); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
