Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Intern to support the next generation product UX test cycles and input voice of customer into the product design process occurring through summer. Over this fast‑paced 10‑week program, you will play a critical role in coordinating usability test operations, ensuring data quality, and enabling product and engineering teams to make informed design decisions. You will also help develop and maintain lightweight dashboards that track Early Market Evaluation (EME) and launch‑readiness metrics, including testing throughput, usability findings, issue severity, and mitigation progress, providing clear visibility into program status and follow‑up actions.

In This Role, You Will:
- Support planning and execution of multiple usability testing cycles by preparing test scripts, session checklists, note‑taking templates, and maintaining the master usability test calendar.
- Stand up and maintain lightweight dashboards that track Early Market Evaluation (EME) throughput, usability findings, issue severity, ownership, and mitigation progress, providing regular visibility into testing outcomes and follow‑up status.
- Manage and maintain the central repository of usability artifacts, ensuring all test sessions are fully documented, accurately categorized, and easily accessible to Product, Engineering, and Design stakeholders.
- Attend and support usability test sessions, including note‑taking, observation logging, and coordination with external partners and internal team members.
- Assist with preparation of presentation materials and readouts for cross‑functional reviews, leadership updates, or milestone checkpoints as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Research, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Engineering, Product Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant academic experience.

- Experience working with structured data using tools such as Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., tables, filters, basic formulas, pivots)
- Exposure to UX or research tools such as Figma, Notion, Airtable, Miro, Qualtrics, Power BI, or similar tools (academic or project experience acceptable)

- Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer, attend meetings, and perform standard office‑based tasks.
- Compliance with relevant county, state, and Federal rules regarding vaccinations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or experience in usability testing or human‑centered design.
