CO-OP Students (Finance)
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic co-op to join our Howmet Aerospace Engines Finance team. This CO-OP position will be located at our Wichita Falls, Texas location.
Student Co-ops have the opportunity to be part of real world business scenarios. Their skills are sharpened as members of a project team, working alongside leaders in partnership with business unit clients. This position pays $19.00 per hour and is ideal for Midwestern State University students (Wichita Falls, Texas). You cannot work more that 1000 hours a year and Howmet Aerospace Wichita Falls will provide a flexible class friendly schedule.

We are looking for an intern with the following skills and abilities:

Key activities will include:
- Value-add assignments for the Howmet Engines business, focused primarily on financial analysis, compliance & controls, cost accounting, and financial process support.
- Assigned projects will give a realistic view into the requirements of a finance professional at a global, publicly traded manufacturing company.
- In person and virtual learning/networking sessions with plant and segment leaders
Professional development opportunities
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program in Business or Finance with an expected graduation date of Winter 2026,2027, or Spring of 2028.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good Math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Prefer good computer skills. (Microsoft Office-especially Excel)
- Good judgment and ability to communicate with all areas of your assigned department
- Positive interaction skills when providing feedback to peers.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply concepts of financial accounting, managerial (cost) accounting
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
