Front of House Restaurant Team Member (Customer Service & Pizza Maker)Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Front of House Team Member to join our restaurant team. This role is responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, preparing pizzas, and ensuring every guest has an outstanding dining experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Greet and warmly welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
- Take customer orders accurately (in-person and by phone/online if applicable)
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations
- Process payments using POS systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
Pizza Preparation
- Prepare and assemble pizzas according to company recipes and standards
- Stretch dough, apply sauces, add toppings, and monitor cooking times
- Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Team Support
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
