Big Head Bob is an educational entertainment brand on a mission to make mental wellness cool. Our universe includes books, cartoons, live events, music, merch, NASA collaborations, school visits, and a large YouTube presence.
We are expanding our internship team with a role dedicated to growing the BHB voice on X and Reddit.
Position Overview
Looking for a creative and ambitious intern who loves write and social media culture. Someone who can help Big Head Bob show up in conversations, trends, threads and communities in a fun, intelligent and positive way. You can specialize in X, Reddit or both depending on your strengths.
You will help build awareness, drive conversations, grow our community and support our mission to promote mental health and creative learning.
What You Will Do
X (formerly Twitter)
• Draft posts, replies and threads that match the BHB voice
• Identify and jump into trending conversations when appropriate
• Build weekly content plans and schedule posts
• Engage with creators, educators and mental health voices
• Track analytics and identify what drives the best performance
Reddit
• Research threads where BHB can provide value
• Share stories, tips or helpful insights related to creativity and mental wellness
• Help manage r/BigHeadBobSquad and grow active discussion
• Draft AMA prompts and long form posts
• Monitor sentiment and report weekly insights
General
• Propose creative campaign ideas
• Help edit short clips or memes for posts
• Support product and event promotions
• Collaborate with the founder and the intern team
• Learn real world marketing strategy from a fast growing brand
What You’ll Learn

What We’re Looking For
• Active user of X or Reddit
• Strong writing skills
• Creative thinker with a sense of humor
• Comfortable engaging with communities
• Reliable, organized and excited about mental wellness and entertainment
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools is a bonus
Internship Details
• 2-5 hours a week
• 3 to 6 month term
• Can earn course credit if your school allows or paid hourly $10-$12
• Remote friendly
• Opportunities to work on major BHB projects
