Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients, including early intervention and school-aged children. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ communication skills and overall well-being through expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. The position requires a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including early intervention strategies
  • Provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients in school settings or clinical environments
  • Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and medical professionals to support patient progress
  • Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy techniques as needed
  • Educate families and caregivers on exercises and strategies to support ongoing communication development at home
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
  • Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development

Skills

  • Prior experience working in school settings or pediatrics is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and pediatric development milestones
  • Familiarity with patient care best practices and early intervention methods
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans
  • Compassionate communication skills tailored for working with children and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills for documentation and progress tracking
