Remote | Part-Time Internship (10–20 hours/week)

Overview

We are seeking a PR & Marketing Intern to support media outreach, brand partnerships, and strategic marketing initiatives for WNDRLUST, a modern luxury travel company, and its founder’s growing personal brand as an author, storyteller, and creative entrepreneur.

WNDRLUST curates elevated villa-based travel experiences around the world, designed for those who value beauty, culture, and meaningful experiences. Alongside the travel brand, the founder is building a media platform spanning publishing, social media, and storytelling.

This role offers hands-on experience in building brand visibility through press, influencer partnerships, and strategic outreach.

You will work directly with the founder and core team.

Responsibilities

PR & Media Outreach

Research and build targeted lists of media contacts, including:

Travel editors

Journalists

Podcasts

Substack writers

Influencers and creators

Assist in securing press features, interviews, and brand placements

Draft outreach emails to media and potential partners

Maintain organized outreach trackers and follow-ups

Assist in developing press kits and brand materials

Influencer & Partnership Outreach

Identify aligned influencers and creators for potential collaborations

Research potential brand partners (travel, fashion, lifestyle, wellness)

Support outreach for influencer trips and collaborations

Help track partnership conversations and opportunities

Marketing & Brand Growth Support

Research marketing and growth opportunities

Assist with newsletter growth initiatives

Identify strategic opportunities for brand visibility

Research competitors and industry positioning

Content & Social Media Support

Identify relevant content trends

Assist in repurposing content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Substack)

Research aligned creators and communities

Track performance and growth metrics

Qualifications

Required

Strong written communication skills

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Strong research skills

Interest in travel, media, storytelling, or brand building

Preferred

Experience with PR, marketing, media, or communications or willing to learn

Interest in travel, personal brands, or publishing

Experience researching influencers, journalists, or partnerships
