Overview
The Rhetoric Spanish teacher is an essential member of our foreign language department, who enables students to gain perspective and humility regarding themselves and their own society, helping them realize the world is larger and older than they ever imagined. The Spanish teacher will teach students history, culture, vocabulary, conjugation, culminating in translation and communication. Finally, the Spanish teacher requires an experienced instructor, who cultivates a vibrant, faith-centered culture in their classroom, where students grow in faith, virtue, knowledge, and understanding.
Job Duties
- Teaches from a Christian worldview
- Embraces a classical model of education
- Provides clear lesson plans, instruction, and assessments, appropriate to the class level (Spanish I-III)
- Communicates clearly and regularly with families
- Maintains a healthy classroom culture
- Utilizes positive classroom management strategies
