Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Manager to expand sales across all aspects of our farm and market business who also has a passion for helping build the Local Food community and agriculture in Northern Michigan. Our farm is expanding its product offerings and markets as we diversify and grow our business. We are creating a Sales Manager position to help coordinate and further expand that growth. This position will help us grow our business in wholesale produce sales to restaurants, retail stores, schools, institutions, produce memberships as well as flowers, gift boxes, farm stay lodging and other sales opportunities both on property and online. This position requires strong computer database and organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities. This is a salaried, full-time position and entails a base salary plus a commission based upon meeting sales goals.

Duties

  • Maintain and expand database of all existing and new sales contacts
  • Identify, grow and track sales leads for each of our product categories and sales channels
  • Develop and build relationships that will help expand sales
  • Use social media, AI and other online tools to build brand awareness and sales
  • Use online analytic tools to measure engagement and success.
  • Create and execute marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Analyze and track effectiveness of all marketing and sales initiatives
  • Enhance SEO and AI GEO response performance
  • Expand online sales
  • Attend trade shows and other marketing events
  • Maintain a clean and well organized work environment.
