Role Description

We are seeking an advanced Economics student (Senior Undergraduate or Master’s level) to lead the pre-commercialization strategy for our proprietary Fleet Management Software. This is a high-impact role focused on transforming a technical intellectual property (IP) asset into a market-ready financial product. You will lead the identification of third-party commercialization firms to manage our sales engine, map the venture capital landscape, and quantify the economic utility of our platform for global stakeholders.

This program has been an incredibly valuable and enriching experience, offering hands-on exposure and real-world insights that are rarely available at this stage. One of the most unique aspects is the opportunity to be mentored directly by the CEO, gaining firsthand guidance, strategic perspective, and leadership insights that are invaluable for long-term growth. Importantly, this is the final session in which the program will be conducted, making it a truly exclusive opportunity that will not be repeated in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising & Capital Research:
    • Utilize market intelligence platforms to identify Venture Capital firms and strategic investors with a specific interest in Logistics Technology and SaaS Innovation.
    • Perform "Comparable Company" (Market Comp) analyses to determine current valuation benchmarks and investment trends within the fleet management sector.
  • Commercialization Partner Selection:
    • Research and profile External Commercialization Firms and Sales-as-a-Service providers capable of taking full ownership of the software's sales cycle.
    • Evaluate potential partners based on their existing distribution networks, market access in the transportation and logistics sector, and their track record for scaling third-party software assets.
    • Perform a "Cost-Benefit Analysis" of different partnership models (e.g., revenue sharing vs. licensing) to determine the most profitable path for the company.
  • Economic Value Modeling (Value Proposition):
    • Develop a Commercial Value Proposition that translates software features into bottom-line financial results for end-users.
    • Build an economic model to calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction and potential Return on Investment (ROI) for fleet operators.
  • Learn and adapt to the constructive criticism given through mentorship sessions, taught by the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field, OR Senior-year Undergraduate (BS/BA).
  • Advanced Analytical Skills:
    • Expert-level proficiency in Excel (including Monte Carlo simulations or advanced financial modeling) and experience with statistical software (Stata, R, or Python).
    • Proven ability to conduct rigorous secondary research and synthesize findings into high-level "Executive Summaries."
  • Theoretical Grounding:
    • Strong command of Industrial Organization, Game Theory (for partner negotiations), and Econometrics.
    • Ability to interpret complex software structures and articulate their economic utility to non-technical audiences
    • Understanding of Market Entry Barriers and Competitive Advantage frameworks.
  • Communication:
    • Professional-grade written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must be motivated students, eager to make a meaningful transition from academic life to professional settings.
