Civil Engineering Intern – Structural Engineering (Solar/PV)
Right Angle Engineering is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to join our in-office engineering team. We provide structural engineering and design services for solar (PV) projects nationwide. This is a great opportunity for students who want hands-on experience and long-term growth in structural engineering.
Job Type
- Summer Internship, Full-time or Part-time (in-office)
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Part-time: 20+ hours/week
Responsibilities
- Assist with structural review and engineering support for solar PV projects
- Review and update structural load calculations (wind/snow/dead/live loads)
- Support engineers with project execution from start to finish
- Provide solutions for projects with structural concerns or limitations
- Perform calculations, engineering markups, and redlines for CAD teams
- Communicate with internal team members to ensure quality and accuracy
- Other engineering tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Student currently working on degree in Civil Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
- Ability to work in the United States
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team

- We will train the right candidate – solar experience is not required
