Responsibilities:
As a school-based occupational therapists with EJ Therapy, you will work with students in educational environments to support their ability to participate successfully in school activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans to address a variety of occupational therapy needs, including fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, visual perceptual skills, and self-care skills.
- Collaborating with other therapists, teachers, and intervention specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Providing counseling and education to families on how to address their child's occupational therapy needs.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license or eligible to obtain one.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience:
Any level of experience welcome, including new graduates.
