About Wunder Entertainment & Lost Isle
Wunder Entertainment is an independent game development studio passionate about creating immersive gaming experiences. Our debut title, Lost Isle, is a thrilling open-world survival crafting game set in a procedurally generated medieval fantasy world. Inspired by classics in the genre, players explore, build settlements, craft powerful gear infused with cosmic magic, battle monstrous creatures, and engage in intense PvP/PvE on large-scale servers (100+ players).
Lost Isle is approaching 4 years of development, and we're now pushing toward our Steam Early Access launch and rapid community growth in 2026.

Role Overview
We're seeking a motivated, gaming-savvy Marketing Intern to support our prelaunch marketing initiatives. You'll gain hands-on experience promoting a Steam Early Access title across social media, community channels, content creation, and player engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a portfolio in indie game marketing while working directly on a live, evolving title.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging social media content (primarily X/Twitter, Discord, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Reddit) highlighting gameplay moments, updates, community spotlights, memes, and dev insights
- Assist in community management: monitor Discord and subreddit, respond to players, organize events/contests, and collect feedback
- Help edit and produce short promotional videos/clips from gameplay footage (using tools like DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
- Research trends, competitors, and viral marketing strategies in the multiplayer open-world survival craft space
- Support press outreach, update press kits, and track media mentions
- Analyze basic performance metrics (engagement, growth, referral traffic) and suggest improvements
- Collaborate on upcoming content drops, patch promotions, and community events
Qualifications & Skills
- Passionate gamer with strong knowledge of survival/crafting/open-world games (e.g., Rust, ARK, Valheim, Conan Exiles, or similar titles)
- Willingness to dive deep into Lost Isle and gain familiarity with the game quickly
- Experience or strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, or community management
- Comfortable creating short-form video content and basic video/photo editing
- Excellent written communication skills (clear, engaging, fun tone that resonates with gamers)
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced indie environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Game Design, Digital Media, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Bonus: Graphic design basics (Canva, Photoshop), meme culture fluency, Discord moderation experience, or analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights)
