Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center – On-Site Position

Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is hiring a dependable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our high-volume, fast-paced truck service center. If you have experience in diesel repair, preventative maintenance (PM), tire services, or commercial truck maintenance, we want to hear from you.

Our shop services heavy-duty diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and commercial equipment daily. This is a great opportunity for experienced diesel mechanics or entry-level technicians looking to grow their career in a stable, nationally recognized travel center environment.

Schedule Requirements

  • Weekends required
     
  • Must be 18 years or older
     
  • On-site position (not remote)

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) on heavy-duty diesel trucks
     
  • Complete oil changes, lube services, and fluid checks
     
  • Inspect, remove, replace, balance, and align commercial truck tires
     
  • Conduct multi-point inspections on diesel engines and fleet vehicles
     
  • Check and maintain coolant, brake, transmission, and engine fluid levels
     
  • Accurately document service findings and repair recommendations
     
  • Operate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
     
  • Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant service bay
     
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
     
  • Provide professional customer service when interacting with drivers and fleet customers
     

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Lube Technician, or Tire Technician preferred
     
  • Experience in heavy-duty truck repair, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle service is a plus
     
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use diagnostic and repair tools
     
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods
     
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced truck shop environment
     
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
     
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
     
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
