Project Manager

About the job

Are you ready to be the engine behind our success? As a Project Manager at Total Security Solutions, you are the key to delivering security solutions customized to our clients' exact needs. By bridging the gap between design and installation, you ensure the fastest speed to completion and an exceptional customer experience that sets us apart in the industry

Why Join Us?

  • Ownership: You own your projects from submittal to closeout.
  • Variety: With 90–120 active jobs at various stages, no two days are the same.
  • Impact: You work hand-in-hand with leadership and shop crews to keep our fabrication and installation moving like clockwork.
  • Growth: We value process improvement. If you see a better way to do things, you’ll have the floor to lead that change.

The Mission

As our Project Manager, you are the bridge between the customer’s vision and the final installation. You’ll manage a rolling portfolio of $800K to $2.5M, ensuring every job is on time, on budget, and up to our standards.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Reviewing project scopes, establishing critical paths, and forecasting labor and material needs.
  • Field Engagement: Traveling (up to 25%) to job sites to measure for final fabrication and ensure field crews are set up for success.
  • Communication Leadership: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors. You manage expectations and keep everyone in the loop.
  • Resource Management: Partnering with Shop Leaders to coordinate in-house fabrication and working with Accounting to keep billings on track.

Who You Are

  • A Precision Planner: With 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles (Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing preferred). You have an eagle eye for detail and a knack for spotting a bottleneck before it happens.
  • Technically Minded: With a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, you are comfortable with trade-specific concepts and can read engineering drawings with ease.
  • A Relationship Builder: You understand that construction is a people business. You’re professional, persuasive, and persistent.
  • Resilient: You thrive under pressure and can pivot quickly when project requirements shift.
  • Travel Ready: Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and measurements.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values your expertise and initiative, we’d love to meet you!
