Reading Instructor Trainee
Lexicon Speech, Language, and Reading is an education provider that specializes in dyslexia therapy, learning disabilities, speech-language therapy, and reading/writing tutoring. We work with students of all ages and it is our goal to improve their literacy skills, language abilities, grades, other academic abilities, and confidence through intensive one-on-one therapy and tutoring.
The goal of the training program at Lexicon is to prepare an individual for a Reading Instructor job at Lexicon by providing the tools, techniques, and guidelines for properly teaching our students. Additionally, we provide future teachers, educators, SLPs, OTs, and therapists with an opportunity to get practical experience working with students in an environment resembling that of their future careers. You do not have to be in one of those fields to apply - but you do have to have an interest in working with students! Lexicon trainees will learn science-based practices that will be directly applicable in future teaching scenarios.
