Position Overview
This internship is designed for students who want meaningful exposure to real HR consulting work not observation or administrative busy work.
As an HR Intern, you will work directly alongside leadership, including CEO Krishna Powell, contributing to active client projects and internal business initiatives. You will gain applied experience across compliance, recruiting, employee relations, training, and business development.
This role is ideal for students who want to graduate with more than theory students who want practical experience they can confidently discuss in interviews.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, HR policies, and procedures
- Support compliance audits and documentation review to ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws
- Help design and implement customized recruitment processes for client organizations
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates
- Participate in conducting exit interviews and analyzing retention trends
- Assist in developing performance evaluation frameworks for clients
- Contribute to the design of employee training programs
- Attend networking events and speaking engagements with leadership
- Support social media management and brand visibility initiatives

Internship Details
- Mandatory Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8–10 hours per week)
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Compensation: $16.50 per hour
- Location: Lawrenceville, NJ (within walking distance of Rider University)
- Requirements: Reliable transportation, personal laptop, and cellphone
