Job Summary
FordDirect is looking to hire an Intern within the IT Data Operations team for our Summer Internship Program. This position will provide exposure to technical quality assurance to ensure data integrity is maintained. The candidate will use debugging tools to identify data leakage and will write code to solve complex tracking challenges. The ideal candidate will be curious by nature and have a desire to learn new tools and technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain real-world, business experience.
This will be a full-time, paid position based in Dearborn, MI
Hybrid: Intern will be required to work in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Duration: June 8th through August 28th, 2026
Essential Functions
- Work with managers to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications
- Develop and execute test plans in JavaScript to ensure digital tags and data integrity is maintained
- Utilize HTML and CSS to customize digital user experience
- Use Azure cloud tools to validate data sets and ensure efficient performance
- Create technical documentation and tagging maps
- Participate in daily standups and weekly meetings
Learning Opportunities
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, specifically Adobe Launch/Tags
- Leverage Azure to process marketing data and understand data workflows
- Sharpen coding skills in JavaScript and HTML/CSS and debug complex technical issues
- Cross collaboration between technical teams and creative marketing teams
- Understanding of rigor required to maintain data quality while meeting compliance regulations
- Exposure to Agile development methodology

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Solid JavaScript experience with familiarity in HTML and CSS
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing, ideally within Azure ecosystem
- Familiarity with cookies, API’s and browser developer tools
- Ability to work with JSON
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
Education
Senior year student preferred, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Data Analytics or related field
