Associate Production Director

Purpose of the Job:

Serves Victory Church and assists the Production Director by leading and equipping a team of technical volunteers for services and special events, including at locations & central events/services.  

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Must have strong leadership and administrative skills.  
• Experience in problem-solving and decision-making abilities.   
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire volunteers and staff.  
• Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize and multitask using good time management skills in a fast-paced environment.   
• Must have experience in good project management.  
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple locations and varying schedules.   
• Expertise in areas like audio mixing, live streaming, video and camera work, and lighting systems.  
• Proven experience in church production or a related field, and an above-average knowledge of ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, digital audio consoles, lighting consoles, and networked audio is preferred.   
• Willingness to continually learn and stay updated on industry trends.  

     Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
 

• Must have proven knowledge and experience in troubleshooting AV equipment, software, and systems. There is a preference for IT troubleshooting as well.  
• Training and equipping the volunteer production teams at every location to use all production & AV equipment for all positions needed.  
• Ability to lead, recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a team of production volunteers for audio, video, lighting, and online broadcasts across Victory Church.  
• Delegate tasks effectively and communicate technical needs to volunteers.  
• Work closely with the Production Director, Pastors, worship leaders, and other ministry staff to support Victory’s overall mission.   
• Assisting with the execution of the vision of the worship experience while using the production equipment.  
• Responsible for the scheduling of volunteers at locations.  
• Must be able to maintain all AV and Production equipment 
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and technical details.  
• Oversee the production elements of all live events so they happen according to the Planning Center plan, provided by the ministry team responsible for the event.   
• Support the worship team with the necessary rehearsals, services, and other special events.   
• Meet weekly with the Worship & Production Staff.
• Attend and participate in monthly All Staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
