Secondary Teaching & Learning Consultant

This position is responsible for advancing instructional quality, curriculum alignment, and assessment practices across Allegan Area ESA’s secondary schools (grades 6–12). This role partners with district and building leadership teams to strengthen the implementation of Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), facilitate effective Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and assist in the design of rigorous standards-aligned instruction. This role provides expertise across the full teaching and learning continuum, including curriculum review and selection, implementation planning, evidence-based instructional strategies, formative and summative assessment systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement processes. This position works to ensure all students have access to high‑quality, equitable learning experiences that prepare them for postsecondary success.
