Rental Management Trainee (Fleet Management)

JOB SUMMARY

This program is fast-paced and touches every aspect of the business unit. In this role, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills and resources to develop your relationship building. We highly encourage you to carve out your own career path and promote from within, based on performance.Though this program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, there is opportunity to complete it in as little as 12 months. The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management. Essential Functions

  • Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
  • Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
  • Responsible for generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
  • Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle Pm and cleanliness standards
  • Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
  • Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes in order to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices
  • Possess a high degree of common sense and the aptitude to learn quickly
  • Ability to relocate to the region/US at the conclusion of the training program
  • Must be computer literate intermediate required

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
