Test Development Intern

The Test Development Editorial Intern will support ABIM’s editorial staff by contributing to the organization, clarity, and consistency of editorial materials used across all ABIM exam disciplines. Under the supervision of the Managing Editor and supported by the editorial leadership team, the intern will:

• Assist with the re-organization and reformatting of the comprehensive ABIM Style Guide.
• Review and reconcile discipline-specific style sheets, ensuring consistency in terminology, medical style, and cross-discipline alignment.
• Support editors in basic editorial tasks.
• Participate in editorial workflow tasks, such as reviewing terminology lists, and supporting data organization for editorial decision making.
• Attend staff and SME meetings and participate in other operational experiences to gain a well-rounded understanding of ABIM’s test development processes.
