Full Time and Part Time Direct Support Professionals are responsible for assisting individuals with acquiring skills of daily living, independent living and social interaction in their residence and their community to become an integrated member of the community. Daily job requirements will involve, but not be limited to, preparing healthy meals, administering medication, assisting with bathing and hygiene, monitoring expenses, assisting with social and recreational activities, and maintaining a clean and safe home.
Full Time Supported Living Specialists must work with minimal supervision and be flexible. Responsibilities include assisting individual with money management, medication monitoring, appointments, housing, utilizing resources in the community and other tasks as needed to enhance the quality-of-life of supported individuals.
Full Time and Part Time Mental Health Program Assistants are responsible for assisting individuals in acquiring skills of daily living, independent living and social skills in the residence and in the community. Provide a safe/clean/ homelike environment for each individual and the guidance necessary to achieve independent living.
Requirements: Computer knowledge is required; experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
ALL candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid PA driver's license, insurance and vehicle, and clean driving record, high school diploma or GED.
Full time staff is eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation and sick days as well as a 401(k) plan and tuition reimbursement. Overtime is also available (but not required) for those candidates who are interested.
