Behavioral Health Counselor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides on-site daily supervision and essential coverage to consumers in a community residential group home program

Responsible for assisting consumers with their personal care goals, providing medication education, and observing their self-administration of prescribed medications

Performs crisis intervention services as needed and reports all consumer concerns to the group home manager

Participates in the development of consumer activities and encourages consumers to participate in all social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
