Internship Snapshot:
The Finance Department is looking for an Intern II with a focus on Treasury, someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and interested in understanding how the organization manages its financial resources on a day-to-day basis. This role provides hands-on experience supporting cash flow forecasting, investment activity, and financial reporting, offering a practical look at how financial decisions are made and maintained within the public sector.
This internship is centered on accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement. You’ll work with the Treasury team to support regular processes, maintain financial data, and help improve how information is tracked and reported. Over time, you’ll begin to see how small details in financial data connect to larger financial outcomes, and how strong processes support sound decision-making.
This role is ideal for students pursuing careers in finance, economics, or accounting, including those early in their academic journey who are ready to apply what they’ve learned. A strong interest in Excel is important—you should be comfortable working with formulas and willing to build your skills as you support day-to-day financial tasks.
