Role Overview

We’re seeking a Social Media Manager with a strong eye for design and a deep understanding of current social media trends. This role is ideal for someone who loves creating visually appealing content, enjoys filming and editing short-form videos, and can help build a cohesive brand voice across platforms.

You’ll work with us one day per week to create and edit content, assist with designing posts and marketing materials, and support our overall social media presence.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, film, and edit content for Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Create visually appealing posts, reels, and stories aligned with our brand style.
• Assist in designing marketing materials (digital assets, simple layouts, product visuals).
• Help maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all platforms.
• Recommend new content ideas based on trends, analytics, and best practices.
• Coordinate with the team to schedule and publish posts.

Qualifications
• Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
• Must be based in Los Angeles, able to help us film in person
• Experience in content creation, video editing, and basic graphic design.
• Good aesthetic sense and understanding of visual branding.
• Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to the table.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar (preferred).

Nice-to-Have
• Interest in food, desserts, or premium consumer brands.
• Cooking/culinary skills
• Basic photography skills.
• Experience working with small businesses or startups.
