Junior Software Developer

Compensation: $40 – $60 per hour

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our engineering team. This role involves working on internal product development as well as client-facing projects. The primary technology stack includes JavaScript and Python, though candidates with experience in other stacks are encouraged to apply. The position supports both full-time and part-time arrangements based on candidate suitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in application design, development, and maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to review project requirements and implement solutions
- Develop and integrate APIs and backend services
- Contribute to low-level design and technical documentation
- Support system integrations and deployment processes
- Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a relevant field
- Strong experience with JavaScript and Python
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, dependable, and collaborative mindset
- Preferably 5+ years of professional or demonstrable hands-on experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with modern frameworks or libraries
- Familiarity with databases and/or cloud platforms
- Experience working with distributed or offshore teams
