ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 8 to August 14, 2026
Hours: 40 hours a week
Pay: $18 an hour

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
• The candidate will lead a strategic audit and optimization project across our ecosystem of over 10 social media accounts to establish long-term departmental benchmarks.
• The major assignment involves analyzing historical performance data and current industry trends to develop a comprehensive "Social Playbook" that defines best practices for high-velocity media planning in a shifting digital landscape.
• Key tasks include conducting competitive landscape analyses of Spanish-language broadcast peers, creating platform-specific content pillars, and identifying emerging social trends that drive audience engagement for our core Hispanic demographics.
• Throughout the internship, the individual will collaborate closely with the paid social team to ensure organic insights are effectively integrated into our broader 360-degree campaign strategies.
• There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.
YOU HAVE:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university
• Must be a rising senior or recent May 2026 graduate
• Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual Fluency (English/Spanish) - Ability to read and write in both languages.
• Interest in Social Media Strategy & Marketing Analytics - Curiosity about performance metrics, content effectiveness, and how data informs long-term strategy.
• Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience
• Research, Analysis & Strategic Thinking - Ability to review and organize social media data and content (recent performance, basic platform metrics, competitive examples, and trends), spot patterns and learnings, and help translate findings into clear takeaways and recommendations, with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Social Platform Familiarity - Hands-on familiarity with major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) as a user, with awareness of content formats, creator behavior, and emerging trends.
• Clear Written Communication - Ability to write organized, thoughtful summaries and draft strategic narratives. Comfort creating and contributing to presentation decks.
• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
