Intern, Realities and Specials
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 8 to August 14, 2026
Hours: 40 hours a week
Pay: $18 an hour

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
• Assist on daily show rundown (Desiguales & Sientese Quien Pueda). Work closely with executive producers, producers, and associate producers to build rundowns.
• Join editorial meetings and participate in the planning and production the entertainment shows.
• Running the show in the control room or in the TV studio.
• You will obtain hands-on experience working closely with producers creating elements for special stories that will air on national television.
• Work closely with producers and provide suggestions on the production of stories.
• Research information and materials necessary for entertainment production.
• Assist in the planning of recording segments for air to Sientese Quien Pueda Show.
• You will be able to pitch stories for shows and help produce them along with our entertainment talents. You will get to work with all roles including producers, technical crews and editors.
• Research information and materials necessary for entertainment special shows El Grito & Las Mananitas
• There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.
YOU HAVE:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university in Communications, Broadcast, TV Production, or a related field, preferred.
• Recently graduated or expected graduation of Summer 2026 or Winter 2026
• Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
• Strong communication, collaborative, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to go above and beyond
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), required.
• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
