Middle School Coaches

Belmont Day School seeks passionate and dedicated individuals to serve as Coaches for our middle school athletic program this spring. We currently have openings for coach or assistant coach roles with the following sports: tennis and girls lacrosse.

This is a part-time, seasonal position that reports to the Director of Athletics. Coach’s hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:00 to 4:30 or 5:30 p.m. daily, depending on when games are scheduled. 
Responsibilities:

Organize and oversee all practices and  games
Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and sportsmanship.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive attitudes.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff.
Ensure safety and well-being of all athletes at all times.
Follow school and interscholastic athletic rules and policies.
Model good behavior, punctuality, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior coaching or playing experience preferred.
Ability to work with middle school-aged students.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Background check required.
Pay range:  $20-$40/hour
