Global Executive Assistant

Executive Assistant to Senior Executive

(AI, Data Center & Venture Capital)

Location: Tyson’s Corner, VA  / Global

Initial Onboarding: 2–4 weeks in Tyson’s Corner, VA, followed by 2–4 weeks of travel with the executive (part of probation period)

Compensation: Base salary $60,000 - $80,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Travel Requirement: Extensive international travel, including extended stays in Asian countries

Role Overview

We are hiring a highly adaptable Global Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a key executive CEO of our strategic partner in China. This role is integral to the executive's operations across the AI, energy, and data center infrastructure sectors, spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the US. The position requires a deep level of integration with the executive's schedule, necessitating extensive international travel, including prolonged stays, primarily in Asia.

This is a unique, cross-border opportunity with the U.S.-based companies. The position includes personalized executive training from the CEO. For those who prove to be a good fit, there is significant potential for career advancement and movement into specialized roles.

 

Following a successful probation period, the role will transition to a rotational model:

  • China-Based Responsibilities: Serve as the dedicated Executive Assistant to the CEO of our overseas partner, focusing on high-level operational management and communications.
  • U.S.-Based Responsibilities: Support the Executive CEO agenda across our U.S. companies, contributing to operations and projects in areas such as finance, investment, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Complete 2–4 weeks of onboarding in the Tyson’s Corner, VA office
  • Travel with the executive for 2–4 weeks during the probation period, then ongoing as required
  • Be proactive to anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve issues in real time
  • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate communication flow across all engagement nodes
  • Handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Maintain proficient Mandarin and English diplomacy to navigate complex cross-cultural business hierarchies and protect the Principal’s reputation.
  • Facilitate seamless global mobility by expertly coordinating and utilizing all modes of private and commercial transportation.
  • Handle direct feedback and high-pressure demands
  • Ensure the Principal’s public and private reputation is upheld through strategic communication and meticulous stage management.
  • The role requires flexibility to work intense and extended hours, especially when traveling with executives, which includes attending after-hour meetings and events.
  • Optimize the Principal’s daily energy and focus by eliminating all operational friction through autonomous decision-making.
  • Maintain global cultural knowledge and competencies, keep up to date on global news including social, political, and economic developments. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (fluent preferred) — spoken and written
  • US Work Authorization
  • Strong professional English communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including extended international stays
  • Ability to commit to the Tyson’s Corner onboarding and probation travel schedule
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality
  • High degree of global cross cultural knowledge
  • Comfortable operating in AI, infrastructure, and energy-driven environments

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or similar role
  • Exposure to AI, technology, infrastructure, or energy sectors
  • Experience supporting founders, investors, or senior executives
  • Cross-cultural or international business experience
  • Enjoys fast-paced, global, and high-responsibility roles
