Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Interns to join our HVAC engineering team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in HVAC design, coordination, and field operations within New York City.
Interns will work closely with our engineering and project management teams, supporting active projects and learning practical applications of mechanical engineering principles in real-world construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in HVAC system design, calculations, and equipment selection
- Support preparation of shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
- Review architectural and MEP drawings for coordination
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations under supervision
- Assist in ductwork and piping layout development
- Support field engineers with site visits and inspections across NYC
- Help track project progress and maintain documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors
- Participate in project meetings and internal engineering discussions
- Ensure designs comply with NYC codes and project specifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong interest in HVAC systems and building mechanical design
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Willingness to conduct site visits across NYC
- Based in New York and able to commute locally
