RESEARCH CHEMIST

Materials Modification Inc., a Scientific Research & Development (R&D) company in Northern Virginia, has an internship opening for a Chemist at the graduate and postgraduate levels.

To support our research projects, we are recruiting chemistry graduates with top-tier Bachelor's degrees, preferably with 1 year of industry experience, Master’s, or Ph.D. degrees, to join us at our Fairfax, VA facility.

Potential job areas include specialization in synthetic and materials chemistry. Only those with prior experience in chemical laboratory work will be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

Graduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in chemistry or chemical engineering

Experience working on the synthesis of organic, polymer, and inorganic chemicals is a plus

Good understanding of the chemical synthesis techniques.

Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, anda  self-starter with good communication skills

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
