Systems Engineering Intern

The Systems Engineering Intern position provides hands-on experience in systems engineering within a dynamic, innovative environment. The primary goal of this role is to assist in developing, testing, and implementing systems solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers to gain insights into project management, system design, and problem-solving methodologies. This position aims to foster professional growth and technical skills while contributing to real-world projects that impact the organization. 

Ultimately, the intern will leave with a comprehensive understanding of systems engineering processes and practices, preparing them for future career opportunities in the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with systems modeling tools and software.
• Previous internship or project experience in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Interest in emerging technologies and trends in systems engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of test repair stations and systems engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure system functionality and performance meet specified requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for system improvements.
• Document engineering processes, findings, and recommendations to support project continuity and knowledge sharing.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and solutions to ongoing engineering challenges.
