Inventory Finance Specialist at Classical Charter School

Job Title: Inventory Finance Specialist

Location: Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver (ACAND)- Brighton, CO

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Headmaster

Salary: $42,000-$46,000 annually

Work days: Extended Year Calendar-Monday -Friday- 8 hrs/day

Position Summary:

All staff are expected to model good character. We seek candidates with a high standard of excellence, professional demeanor, warm rapport with students, clear communication with parents and other staff members, and a can-do attitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized and diligent.

Position Requirements:

  • Loyalty to Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools, Inc.'s (ACACS) mission and vision
  • Receive items in real time and in NetSuite
  • Receive all mail & deliveries
  • Log items in Libib (where appropriate)
  • Label curricular resources (where appropriate, work in conjunction with the Literacy Specialist)
  • Deliver items to the appropriate people
  • Manage pars in custodial and office/copy areas
  • Serve as double count on deposits/cash transactions
  • Respond to staff who are checking items in and out from Libib
  • Perform organization projects
  • Coordinate with the facilities and office managers on facility work
  • Phone calls/emails to families or staff who have bills outstanding or property damaged
  • Assemble furniture when necessary
  • Direct finance assistants and support/collaborate with the finance team
  • Assist and lead in inventory of lunchroom supplies and lunchroom management
  • Support school financial and operational needs as necessary, including assisting the purchasing specialist with vendors and ordering supplies
  • Display initiative in recognizing potential problems and propose potential solutions.
  • Commitment to model moral character in line with the school's core virtues
  • Adherence to all ACACS policies, including but not limited to the Employee Handbook, Family Handbook, and all applicable school and board policies
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to develop positive and professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Complete all required training and provide documentation as well as official college transcripts within 90 days of hire date
  • Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance by adhering to assigned work hours, reporting on time, and following proper procedures for absences or tardiness to ensure minimal disruption to students, colleagues, and school operations
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English to effectively perform their job responsibilities and communicate in the workplace
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer
● Must be able to traverse classroom and building
● Must be able to supervise outdoor recess periods for up to 40 minutes outdoor
