Rhythm Express is seeking a creative mechanical design engineer to join our product development team to design, prototype, test, and implement mechanical solutions for a next-generation wearable cardiac monitoring system. This position will work both independently and collaboratively with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field and enjoy learning and stepping into new challenges and providing state-of-the art solutions in a fast-paced environment. A strong foundation in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), design for manufacturability/assembly (DFM/DFA), and rapid prototyping is highly desirable. Experience with wearable or medical device enclosures, sealing strategies (e.g. ultrasonic welding), ISO 13485, thermal analysis, and validation testing is a plus.

This is an on-site position based at our Arden Hills location. Our office is centrally located with nearby access to I-694, Snelling Ave, and I-35W. This facility includes natural light, high-efficiency filters, and UV sterilization to reduce pathogens in the air to keep employees safe.
