Are you a design senior or graduate student who believes the future of user experience is built with AI? We are looking for a visionary, tech-savvy UI/UX Web Experience Specialist to join us for a high-impact, project-based engagement.

Instead of traditional static design, you will leverage the power of Next-Gen AI platforms to prototype, iterate, and optimize professional-grade user interfaces. This is a role for a "Builder" who understands how to orchestrate AI tools to achieve elite design results in record time.

Role Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Web Experience Specialist to shape seamless and engaging web experiences using AI design tools and other platforms such as Figma, WordPress, and Adobe XD.  You will focus on the end-to-end user experience by improving navigation, interaction flows, and visual design. This role is ideal for someone looking to combine creativity, user-centered thinking, and modern web technology skills to make a real impact on the user experience.

This program has been an incredibly valuable and enriching experience, offering hands-on exposure and real-world insights that are rarely available at this stage. One of the most unique aspects is the opportunity to be mentored directly by the CEO, gaining firsthand guidance, strategic perspective, and leadership insights that are invaluable for long-term growth. Importantly, this is the final session in which the program will be conducted, making it a truly exclusive opportunity that will not be repeated in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI-Driven Development: Architect responsive, high-performance interfaces specifically utilizing Hostinger’s WordPress AI Builder to transition from concept to live environment rapidly.
  • WordPress UI/UX Design: Design and customize WordPress themes with a focus on user-centric layouts, ensuring high-fidelity visual appeal and seamless user journeys.
  • UI Design Systems: Develop and maintain consistent visual components, typography systems, and interaction patterns to ensure cohesive and accessible user interfaces.
  • User Experience Research & Strategy: Translate user insights into clear user flows, error prevention and recovery design, and intuitive experiences that reduce friction and improve engagement.
  • Prompt Engineering for UI: Utilize generative AI to create custom visual assets, design systems, and layout structures tailored for WordPress integration.
  • UX Optimization: Ensure all AI-assisted designs are user-centric, mobile-responsive, and performance-optimized for elite WordPress UX/UI standards.
  • System Integration: Manage design components, plugins, and assets within the WordPress/Hostinger ecosystem to ensure functional and aesthetic alignment. 
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align aesthetic excellence with functional project goals

Required Skills

  • Educational Background: Senior-level student or higher in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • WordPress Expertise: Strong proficiency in UI/UX design specifically for WordPress, including an understanding of site architecture, blocks, and theme customization.
  • Platform Mastery: Proven experience using Hostinger’s WordPress AI Builder to generate and refine websites, with the ability to override AI defaults with custom design logic.
  • AI Fluency: Experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to assist in user research, content creation, and prototyping logic within a WordPress workflow.
  • Visual Literacy: A strong eye for modern UI/UX principles to guide the AI toward aesthetic and functional excellence.
  • Agile Mindset: Ability to work independently on a project basis and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a motivated student, eager to make a meaningful transition from academic life to professional settings

Submission Requirements

We value what you can build more than what is on your resume. To be considered, you must provide:

  • A Portfolio of AI-Built Projects: A link to a portfolio or a PDF showcasing at least 2–3 UI/UX projects you have designed specifically using AI-integrated tools (preference for WordPress/Hostinger projects).
  • Tool Breakdown: A brief note on which AI tools were used for each project and why you chose them.
  • Resume/CV: Highlighting your academic progress and any relevant design certifications.

Note: Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

Internship Details:

  • The minimum internship duration is 3 months and minimum working hours per week is 20 hours.
  • This is an unpaid internship.
  • All applicants MUST be a university senior or above.
  • We are a Canadian-based company.
  • All positions are remote.
  • We require mandatory meeting availability (depending on your role).
  • Work hours are based in MST (Mountain Standard Time).
