Insurance Producer Intern
Position Summary:
This is a high-growth internship for HPU seniors. Unlike traditional internships, this role is a direct pipeline to a career as an Insurance Producer. You will rotate through Underwriting, Account Management, and Sales to gain a 360-degree view of the agency before transitioning into a sales-focused role.
Essential Duties:
- Underwriting and Risk Assessment: Assist in data entry and risk analysis for commercial and personal lines.
- Service and Customer Support: Coordinate with clients on policy changes, claims filings, and renewal documentation.
- Sales and Strategy: Conduct market research on prospective clients and assist in the creation of sales presentations.
Requirements:
- Expected graduation date within 6-12 months.
- Strong interest in a long-term sales career in Hawaii.
- Ability to work 15–20 hours per week during the semester (flexible around class schedule).
