Position Overview
Playa Vista Institute is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BCLA Summer Intern to support a variety of administrative, research, and communications projects. This role provides hands-on experience within a mission-driven nonprofit organization engaged in research, industry analysis, and data-informed initiatives.
The intern will work closely with leadership and gain exposure to organizational operations, research support, and collaborative project work. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in nonprofit work, public interest research, policy-related fields, or data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for ongoing projects and organizational initiatives
- Assist with research tasks, data collection, and information organization
- Support internal and external communications, including drafting and editing content
- Coordinate tasks across multiple projects and maintain organized records
- Collaborate with staff and leadership on special projects as assigned

Supervision and Mentorship
The intern will be primarily supervised by the principal supervisor. Additional oversight and mentorship will be provided, offering interns exposure to multiple leadership perspectives within the organization.
