Enhanced Capital is Seeking 2026 Summer Interns 

 

Enhanced Capital is excited to announce that applications for our 2026 summer internship program are now open! 

 

We are currently seeking in-person interns to join our Project Finance and Small Business Lending groups for the summer session of 2026. Preferred applicants are rising seniors with targeted graduation dates in 2027 who can work in the following locations:

 

  • Project Finance: New Orleans, LA 
  • Small Business Lending: Cincinnati, OH, New York City or Remote

Enhanced Capital is a strategy of Ridgepost Capital, a leading private markets solutions provider. Founded in 1999, Enhanced Capital is a private credit investment manager focused on Project Finance and Small Business Lending. 

 

Enhanced Capital’s Project Finance group focuses on tax credits and incentive-backed loans for real estate and sustainable infrastructure projects during the construction phase. The Small Business group provides senior and subordinated debt financing solutions to lower and middle-market businesses. 

 

From inception through December 31st, 2025, inclusive of proprietary assets and assets managed by affiliates, Enhanced Capital has raised a total of $6.8 billion. Internship Overview

Interns will work in-person alongside originations, underwriting, and asset management professionals on one dedicated team - either Project Finance or Small Business Lending. The program provides exposure to live transactions and the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through closing and portfolio monitoring.

 

Interns will also gain direct exposure to senior leaders, partners, and members of the investment committee through participation in diligence calls, strategy discussions, and live deal execution. The role offers meaningful responsibility within an active private credit platform.

 

  • About the Project Finance Internship (New Orleans, LA)
    The Project Finance internship provides hands-on exposure to construction-phase financing for real estate and sustainable infrastructure projects. Interns support transactions that utilize tax credits and public incentives, including historic building preservation, brownfield remediation, and sustainable infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities include financial modeling, incentive analysis, and underwriting within complex capital structures. 

 

  • About the Small Business Lending Internship (Cincinnati, OH, New York City or remote)
    The Small Business Lending internship focuses on senior and subordinated debt investments in lower middle-market businesses. Interns support sourcing efforts, conduct financial and market diligence, prepare investment committee materials, and assist with portfolio monitoring across a diverse range of industries.

 

Applicants will be asked to indicate a preference for either Project Finance or Small Business Lending.

 

Responsibilities

  • Building and updating financial models and underwriting analyses
  • Supporting diligence on new investments and counterparties
  • Conducting sponsor, company, and market research
  • Assisting with pipeline tracking, screening, and investment memos
  • Supporting portfolio and asset management initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills
  • Interest in private credit, project finance, or small business investing
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Rising seniors with targeted graduation dates in 2027 preferred

 

Interns receive a monthly stipend based on their location.
