Administrative Assistant - Litigation

Fenton & Keller is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant – Litigation to support our attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative law firm environment. We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following practice areas: employment law, personal injury, civil litigation, business transactions, real estate transactions, and/or estate planning.

Successful candidates will be proactive, professional, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting multiple attorneys with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong administrative and litigation support with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting accuracy.
  • Manage multiple attorneys’ calendars, deadlines, court dates, depositions, and appointments.
  • Draft professional written communications and handle client interactions with discretion and clarity.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files.
  • Assist with document filing systems, including e-filing and court filings (preferred).
  • Assist with discovery processes, deposition coordination, preparation of pleadings, and Judicial Council forms (preferred).
  • Assist with recording and retrieving documents, and Secretary of State filings (preferred).
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Learn and master new skills, software, and firm procedures as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong proofreading skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Litigation or legal administrative experience strongly preferred.
  • Notary Public license preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22-$35 per hour
