Job Summary
The Donor Relations & Gifts Coordinator ensures the seamless and compliant processing of charitable contributions while helping deliver an exceptional donor experience that fosters confidence, accountability, and enduring relationships. The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate processing, receipting, and recording of contributions while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, and to support a comprehensive donor relations program that fosters strong, transparent, and lasting relationships with constituents.
Responsibilities
• Gift Administration:
• Comprehensive gift processing and administration of charitable contributions.
• Process, document, acknowledge, and receipt gifts and pledges of varying complexity within AffinaQuest/Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, General Ledger integrity, and compliance with IRS regulations, CASE standards, and internal policies.
• Manage complex transactions including gifts of stocks/securities, EFTs, credit cards, payroll deductions, matching gifts, and recurring gifts.
• Maintain constituent and fund records, assist with gift adjustments, resolve designation and accounting issues in coordination with donors, gift officers, departments, Finance, and Payroll, and monitor banking and credit card activity.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures, maintain physical and electronic gift records, and provide reporting and support for audits, fiscal and calendar year-end close, and other financial inquiries.
• Donor Relations & Stewardship:
• Support donor relations and stewardship initiatives in collaboration with the Director and Assistant Director of Donor Relations & Gifts.
• Assist with departmental gift notifications, fund usage audits, scholarship stewardship (including student surveys and donor notifications), impact reporting, and stewardship communications and events.
• Maintain stewardship fund files and documentation, respond to donor and campus partner inquiries regarding fund status and gift designation, and support donor engagement activities during Homecoming and Commencement as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3 years of experience in a related field
One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
• $20.75 to $24.69 per hour
